ROAD TO RESILIENCE! – Mindfully Reducing Distress

Facilitated by a registered mental health pracitioner and delivered over four 60minute sessions, this online course provides practical skills to increase your tolerance for internal and external distress through mindfulness-based strategies.

You will learn WHY mindfulness works to reduce distress and HOW to implement these strategies into your life to increase joy, connection, a sense of peace and self-control.

Each session will focus on different elements of mindfulness, including:

  • Using your senses to ground yourself and remain calm
  • Correct breathwork to bring yourself to centre
  • Locating your inner power and connecting to this whenever you feel lost
  • Using discrete mindfulness strategies during conflict

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

Zera Walpole (BSW, MHSW, DipCou, DipTAE) is a registered Mental Health Social Worker and Skills Trainer specialising in Mindfulness-Based therapy.

Located in the beautiful South-West of Western Australia, she brings 20 years of clinical experience to wherever you are.

COST AND PARTICULARS

Nb You may be eligible for rebates through Medicare, NDIS or DVA.  Please discuss with your service provider.

The total cost of the 4 sessions is $180 if paying up front, or $50 per session. Participants are encouraged to attend all 4 sessions in order to gain the best outcomes as each session will cover different topic areas of Mindfulness and Distress.
